McDONALD AGRI LTD
The farm specialises in the production of summer Brassicas including Broccoli, Cauliflower and Brussel Sprouts. The vegetables are grown on our own land and on rented land throughout Angus. All vegetable crops are harvested and brought back to our main site for chilling and packing.
In 2016 the business established a soft fruit enterprise producing Strawberries and Blueberries in polytunnels during the summer and autumn months.
We grow a range of potatoes for UK supermarkets. All potatoes are harvested and coldstored before grading.
Alongside the intensive fruit and vegetable enterprises, the business grows Spring barley and Wheat. All Spring barley crops are grown for the malting industry while the Wheat is grown for the feed market.
